Rob has raised considerable funds for St John the Baptist Parish in Woy Woy, and Mary Mac’s Place over the years. Mary Mac’s, managed and operated by CatholicCare, is open to anyone who is homeless, transient or needing a helping hand on the Central Coast. Located at the Ethel Cox Centre in Woy Woy – Mary Mac’s provides a two course lunch daily and a place to shower and to wash clothes.

Share the Dignity

Michelle Povah, Coordinator Northern Sydney Family Referral Service and Emergency Relief Program from our Naremburn Family Centre was asked to speak at a Share the Dignity afternoon tea fundraiser recently. Share the Dignity is a women’s charity that makes a real, on-the-ground difference to homeless women and victims of domestic violence.

Belonging to the larger network of Catholic Social Services Australia (CSSA), we provide services to 26,000+ children, young people, individuals and families on the NSW Central Coast, Northern Sydney and Northern Beaches, and have been doing so since 1987. We currently deliver around $38 million of care annually.

It was a very Merry Mac’s

It was a very merry celebration at Mary Mac’s this year. Mary Mac’s Place Woy Woy is a not-for-profit community kitchen where volunteers provide a hot lunch, washing and shower facilities and referrals to other services for the homeless and disadvantaged people in our community.

Our new Family Centre is purpose built to provide specialist one-on-one and group services for the Northern Beaches community. We offer services to children, families, young people and individuals across a range of programs that promote wellbeing.

Safe Homes

Domestic violence is on the rise across the Central Coast. Safe Homes is a free service for all victims of domestic and family violence – males, females and children. It also assists men who wish to change their behaviour and become better fathers.
