Farewell to one of our own – our beloved Harold Chatfield
Harold Chatfield was a much loved CatholicCare team member at our Waitara Family Centre where he worked as a Homelessness Support Worker between February 2015 through to August 2017. Harold was working for FaCs as a Senior Client Services Officer when he was tragically killed on 6 July 2018.
Share the Dignity
Michelle Povah, Coordinator Northern Sydney Family Referral Service and Emergency Relief Program from our Naremburn Family Centre was asked to speak at a Share the Dignity afternoon tea fundraiser recently. Thank you Seven Consulting for our fabulous refuge renovation

It was a very Merry Mac’s
It was a very merry celebration at Mary Mac’s this year. Mary Mac’s Place Woy Woy is a not-for-profit community kitchen where volunteers provide a hot lunch, washing and shower facilities and referrals to other services for the homeless and disadvantaged people in our community.
Tomago Aluminium says no to violence
Tomago Aluminium ran not one, but two White Ribbon Days recently to highlight the issue of domestic violence, asking staff to pledge to say no to violence. They raised $740 and donated this money to our Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) program to assist women and children escaping domestic and family violence.
Donate to Mary Mac’s Place
Mary Mac’s Place Project is an initiative of St John the Baptist Parish, Woy Woy, and is managed and operated by CatholicCare. It's open to anyone who is down on their luck, homeless or transient.
