Our youth services

Belonging to the larger network of Catholic Social Services Australia (CSSA), we provide services to 26,000+ children, young people, individuals and families on the NSW Central Coast, Northern Sydney and Northern Beaches, and have been doing so since 1987. We currently deliver around $38 million of care annually.

It was a very Merry Mac’s

It was a very merry celebration at Mary Mac’s this year. Mary Mac’s Place Woy Woy is a not-for-profit community kitchen where volunteers provide a hot lunch, washing and shower facilities and referrals to other services for the homeless and disadvantaged people in our community.

Can you spare one hour a fortnight? Our Community Visitors Scheme needs you.

Our Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) needs your help to brighten an older person’s day! There are residents in aged care homes across the Northern Beaches who are lonely and may not have family or friends living nearby.

Our Sculptures by the Sea adventure

Three of our clients - Nikita, Jake and Elyce  - participated in the volunteer programme at Sculptures by the Sea again this year. They were invited to choose a sculpture each, learn about it and share their thoughts with visitors to the exhibition as they delivered their own guided tours.

Our new Northern Beaches Family Centre is now open in Brookvale!

Our new Family Centre is purpose built to provide specialist one-on-one and group services for the Northern Beaches community. We offer services to children, families, young people and individuals across a range of programs that promote wellbeing.

Tomago Aluminium says no to violence

Tomago Aluminium ran not one, but two White Ribbon Days recently to highlight the issue of domestic violence, asking staff to pledge to say no to violence. They raised $740 and donated this money to our Staying Home Leaving Violence (SHLV) program to assist women and children escaping domestic and family violence.

Safe Homes

Domestic violence is on the rise across the Central Coast. Safe Homes is a free service for all victims of domestic and family violence – males, females and children. It also assists men who wish to change their behaviour and become better fathers.

Caring Dads

Some men have attitudes and behaviours towards their partners and family members which have a detrimental impact on their families and children. Caring Dads is a group program for men who want to improve their parenting and be better fathers.
