Tragically, there are many children and young people in our community who are unable to live with their families through no fault of their own.
We are looking for foster carers on the Central Coast, Northern Beaches,
Greater North Shore and Northern Sydney areas.
CatholicCare is seeking families to provide essential support, care and stability for children and young people affected by family breakdown, to enable them to recover and thrive. Through our suite of services, and the dedication of our specialist support teams and foster carers, we are transforming the lives of children and young people to create positive futures.
Our priority is to ensure these children and young people have a safe, stable home. If you are interested in knowing more about fostering a child or young person, please contact us or download our brochure here.

Baby Lucy can’t stay in the hospital due to COVID straining the system. She needs a safe place to go to once she is discharged. She needs a family who can love her for at least for a year or two but likely even longer if her parents can’t overcome their addictions. Lucy deserves a good start to life and a loving home. STACEY IS 10 & CRAVES A LOVING FAMILY
Stacey has been placed with people all over the country. She is a bundle of energy and needs a lot of one-on-one attention so can wear her foster carers out. Although Stacey is 10 she has developmental delays due to past trauma which puts her closer to 6 years of age. Due to her high needs we have found it difficult to find a family to support and care for her. She has been living with paid workers but desperately craves a loving family which is totally understandable. Stacey is a challenge but if you can help you would be provided with training, supported by a team of specialists and a dedicated case manager. Please don’t let Stacey fall through the cracks due to no fault of her own. Can you help?
