We’re delighted to announce we have recently been accredited to provide Home Care Packages!
This news is very fresh, so we are in the early planning phase currently. Our first focus is to understand the needs of seniors and then start recruiting support workers, dependent on where the interest is geographically. We will then start delivering services as soon as we are set up to do so.
A Home Care Package is Government funding that you can access to pay for services to keep you living independently in your own home for as long as possible. The higher your care needs, the higher the level and amount of funding provided.
We can help you understand your options when applying for and maximising the benefits of a Home Care Package. We listen to you and help you decide on the services that best meet your individual needs and partner with our clients to find the best solutions possible. Matching the right locally based care workers and supports for you is paramount and we put a lot of focus on making sure we get that right. We understand the importance of a consistent worker so you can build trust and rapport. Your package will be managed with dignity and choice. We will work with you to develop a budget and keep you up-to-date on how you are tracking. You will have a dedicated case manager to help you plan, respond to any questions and check in on how you are going.
What can a Home Care Package assist with?
Depending on the level of package you receive, you can access assistance for a range of different services including:
- Clinical care including nursing
- Help with showering, hygiene and medication prompts
- Allied health including podiatry and physiotherapy
- Companionship and someone to laugh with
- General household assistance including housekeeping, meal preparation and shopping
- Transport to and from appointments, social events and activities
- Respite for carers to take a break from their role
- Support maintaining your yard and garden
- General handyman tasks and home modifications
- Help to maintain your brain health through our Memory Innovations Centre … and more.
Whether your care is in the form of a Government package (Level 1, 2, 3 or 4) or is privately funded, we can help you determine which services are right for you. If you are on the waitlist, looking for a provider or unsure how to navigate the aged care system, our Care Coordinators are happy to assist you.
