Executive Director

Following a brief career in IT, Tim has acquired 16 years’ experience in executive leadership positions across the Child and Family, Disability, Aged Care, and Community Housing Sectors. For 13 of these years, Tim served as CEO of LiveBetter and led the organisation through a period of significant change and growth. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science, Master of Business Administration, Master of Social Change and Development and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Chief Financial Officer

Pat is a career finance professional with over 30 years of experience acquired through a variety of corporate sector roles, primarily in the transport and logistics sector. An engaging CFO, Pat has led large finance teams in complex organisations through significant periods of change. A conscious career move into the for purpose sector bought Pat to CatholicCare. He holds a Bachelor of Business degree and is a member of CPA Australia and the Governance Institute of Australia.

DAVID OXLEY

Chief Information Officer

David brings 30 years of career experience in information technology spanning software engineering, consulting and leadership. He has worked within an impressive cross-section of vertical markets, including finance, automotive and professional services in start-up and enterprise organisations.  Leveraging his strategic, technical and commercial agility, David is passionate about helping CatholicCare scale to meet increasing demand, navigate security and compliance challenges and translate complex business requirements into contemporary, robust technical solutions.

ANGELA WHITBY

General Manager, Integrated Services
Homelessness & Family Services

Angela has worked in the welfare sector in both UK and Australia for 19 years. She holds a BA Social Welfare, Dip Counselling & Family Therapy, Dip Early Childhood Studies and Cert Health &Social Care. Angela has previously worked across casework disciplines in early intervention and child protection including 7 years within the Homebuilders © Intensive Family Preservation model. Angela manages Waitara Family Centre and provides leadership for our Child and Family, Counselling, Homelessness, Domestic Violence and Mediation teams. She has a strong focus on providing quality and evidenced based interventions.

KIM McINTYRE

General Manager, Integrated Services
Domestic Violence & Therapeutic Services

Kim has over 30 years’ experience in the community service sector in both Government and non-government organisations across Sydney and the Central Coast. Kim began her working life in special education and working with sick and disadvantaged children. Many of these children’s lives were affected by domestic and family violence and this is what has driven her career in assisting women and children escaping violence. Over the last 6 years Kim has taken on senior management roles overseeing many Government contracts and staff – utilising an inspirational leadership model. Kim brings passion to her work and consistently looks for innovative growth opportunities to further assist those in need in our communities.

General Manager, Permanency Support Program

Sean brings over two decades of experience in the Child and Family sector, having held senior operational and policy leadership roles within non-government human services organisations across metropolitan, rural and remote communities throughout Australia. Beginning his career working with youth at risk, Sean has dedicated his professional life to improving outcomes for children and young people in care, supporting family reunification, and strengthening foster care networks. With formal qualifications in Social Health (Child and Family), Management and Financial Services, Sean combines deep sector knowledge with strong business acumen. His expertise lies in building collaborative relationships across diverse stakeholder networks to advocate for those in need, while designing and implementing robust business processes that drive quality outcomes for the clients and communities we serve.

GREG BERGAN

General Manager, Disability & Services for Seniors

Greg has accumulated over 25 years in the disability sector and is an accomplished senior executive with extensive experience in steering change management, community development, stakeholder engagement and inspiring performance. Greg has a background in human resources, transport and operations and holds a Master of Business Administration. His previous roles include that of CEO for Spinal Cord Injuries Australia as well as Creativity Inc, demonstrating his strong leadership and large network in the industry. Greg is passionate about ensuring delivering efficient, effective services that make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.

General Manager, Children’s Services

Lisa has 30 years’ experience in the human services sector and holds qualifications in Social Science and Law. Lisa is driven by an ethos of social justice and is passionate about creating child-centred service models. She has worked at all levels of child facing organisations, from grass roots to Executive and Board roles. Having led operations in multi-site, highly regulated environments, she understands the complexity of providing safe, high-quality services. She is a strong advocate for the criticality of strong culture in child focused services.

Melissa brings more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience across diverse industries. In her role at CatholicCare, she supports the organisation’s mission, vision, values and strategic direction through meaningful, measurable and sustainable communication and engagement initiatives. Her work focuses on elevating the agency’s profile and fostering strong internal and external relationships through broad community engagement. Melissa oversees a wide range of communication activities, with a strong emphasis on brand awareness, lead generation and strengthening CatholicCare’s connection to the communities it serves.

Angela is an experienced HR leader with a focus on helping employees reach their full potential. She is committed to creating a positive and engaging culture at CatholicCare that fosters employee growth and drives organisational success. Angela is an adept problem solver and collaborative, inclusive team member who is results oriented with extension HR generalist and HR management experience across a wide range of industries such as not-for-profit organisations, health, education and community services. She works proactively alongside CatholicCare’s senior leaders to create, implement and execute our full people and culture remit.​​​​​​​

Simone is a senior operations and quality and risk manager with a social work background, committed to building capability across organisations. She has held state and national roles in for-purpose organisations, applying client-centred approaches to quality, safeguarding, risk, compliance and governance. She champions proactive, organisation-wide strategies tailored to individual service needs – promoting and protecting client rights, safety and wellbeing. She thrives on integrating practice with business, utilising client voice to drive evidence-informed service delivery, continuous learning and adaptive change.

In her role as Executive Officer, Kate provides support to the senior leadership team, ensuring smooth business operations and effective governance. Known for her organisational excellence, commitment to integrity, and collaborative approach, Kate has contributed to enhancing service delivery and governance practices across the organisation.
