Meet Deborah from Cherrybrook

My name is Deborah. You’ll find my Family Day Care centre in Cherrybrook.

I have over 30 years experience with children.  I started my career working as a live in nanny and was fortunate to have a long relationship with the family supporting them until their children were in their teens.

I then went on to work in office jobs with the intention of starting my own family day care business once I had my own children. I now have three of my own, two with complex needs.  My first born has anaphalaxis to nuts, my second child has a rare genetic disability.

I am passionate about inclusive care that involves all abilities. I am also available to do after school care for Cherrybrook Public School students.

I have my Certificate III in Children’s Services, as well as other qualifications. I believe communication with families is a priority and working together I ensure a healthy environment for all children in my care.
