Speech Pathology
Wai Ching is our highly experienced speech pathologist who offers a specialised speech therapy service to assist with your communication and swallowing difficulties.
Wai Ching has experience working with people after stroke, neurogenerative diseases such as dementia, Parkinson’s disease, traumatic brain injury and intellectual disabilities. She has special interest in using technology for augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) to supplement communication as well as providing training to carers and families for both communication and swallowing education.
She offers one-to-one sessions and home visits to assess your speech and give you practical strategies to improve your communication and enhance your wellbeing. Wai Ching works at the Memory innovations Centre once a fortnight.
