Michael has successfully advocated for significant growth in NSW Government funding of youth services in NSW Homelessness programs in excess of $50m, established the successful annual Youth Homelessness Matters Campaign, established an independent youth housing company ‘Myfoundations’ providing a model to grow new youth housing options and pathways for young people to move out of the homelessness status.  Michael was also instrumental in reframing the policy debate on youth homelessness as being more than just a bed for the night.

Michael is experienced in strategic planning, organisational rebranding, advocating to politicians,  tender coordination and writing, and successful in fund raising and attracting sponsorship.   Michael is well published and has good connections with universities with a passion for research.  Michael has been a member on many Boards in his career and lectured/tutored in Adult Education and Indigenous Faulty Courses (UTS) and Wirra Wirra Indigenous Faculty (Macquarie Uni).

It’s wonderful to have Michael joining the team.
