Meet Belinda from Berowra Heights

My name is Belinda. You’ll find my Family Day Care centre in Berowra Heights.

I have three children aged 3, 9 and 11 and I have been working in Family Day Care for over 10 years. Prior to this I nannied for families for 10 years. I have a Certificate III in Children’s Services.

I have chosen to work in Family Day Care as it allows me to use my extensive experience in working with children while catering for the needs of my own.

One of the most rewarding aspects of my work would have to be the supportive and respectful relationships I build with the children and their families.

I believe in the importance of developing strong connections with the community. I achieve this through taking the children on a variety of excursions which include local parks, playgroups and events at the school my own children attend.

My philosophy is that my home is a home away from home where children can be themselves in a loving, caring and social environment.
