Meet Adelina from Thornleigh

My name is Adelina. You’ll find my Family Day Care centre in Thornleigh.

I completed my University Degree in Early Childhood Education in Bulgaria and worked there as a kindergarten teacher for 6 years.

In Sydney I have worked in several childcare centres, before opening my own Family Day Care. I have been providing care to families in the local community since 2006.

Our house is located on a very quiet and leafy street, very close to Thornleigh train station.

Providing Family Day Care has allowed me to apply my professional knowledge and experience in the best possible way. I believe that children’s learning potential is greatly heightened when they are in a safe, respectful environment and are guided and challenged by a knowledgeable educator.

In the small Family Day Care environment, I have an opportunity to closely observe the children and tailor my intentional teaching to a very effective, child centred curriculum.
