A new children’s guardian for NSW
June 2, 2017Minister Pru Goward announced on Friday that the new Children’s Guardian for NSW will be Janet Schorer. Kerryn Bolland is retiring after 12 years in the role. Janet Schorer begins her role on the 11th of July.
The Office of the Children’s Guardian is an independent statutory authority in NSW Government. They protect children in NSW by promoting and regulating quality, child safe organisations and services. CatholicCare is an accredited designated agency for Out of Home Care Services.
